Nelson is a multi-disciplinary consultant with a highly analytical mind. He possesses a rare ability of condensing issues into smaller, accessible and comprehensible bites. Over the years, he has developed consulting methodologies that consistently deliver results on even the most challenging engagements. Nelson is deeply committed to promoting accountability and good governance.

Nelson is a Chartered Institute of Management Accountants Finalist-CIMA-UK. He holds a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelors of Commerce from Makerere University Kampala Uganda.

Nelson is currently the Deputy Managing Director at ACLAIM Africa Limited. Nelson’s varied expertise includes business and strategic planning, executive recruitment, risk management, corporate governance, Government performance assessments, business process Improvements, procurement oversight, project and programme evaluations (baseline, mid-term reviews, process evaluations), fiscal hosting, outsourced services (finance, human resource, procurement, governance). In the past has worked as an External Auditor, Internal Auditor, Economist/Planner, Management Consultant, Infrastructure Project Delivery Expert. He has worked with Edes & Associates, Directorate of Policy Planning, Implementation and Monitoring & Evaluation (Office of the Prime Minister – Uganda), SMART Consult (U) Limited, and Uganda’s Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit.
