Health

Health is very vital to Africa’s progress, serving as a cornerstone for boosting productivity, alleviating poverty, and fostering sustainable development by enhancing life expectancy and overall well-being.

While there has been notable progress over the years, Africa still faces significant health challenges including high rates of infectious diseases like malaria, HIV/AIDS, and tuberculosis, coupled with the rising burden of non-communicable diseases such as diabetes and hypertension. Limited access to healthcare services, inadequate infrastructure, shortages of trained healthcare workers, and insufficient funding exacerbate these issues. Additionally, malnutrition, poor sanitation, and inadequate immunization coverage further compromise health outcomes, particularly among vulnerable populations like children, women and the elderly.

 ACLAIM helps address these challenges through:

  • Recruitment and management of health workers to quickly adapt to evolving healthcare needs;
  • Providing Fiscal Agency services to manage health funds from governments, donors and development partners and ensure proper accountability;
  • Providing Outsourced Procurement Services of health products and ensuring proper supply chain management; and
  • Development of Strategic Plans to ensure optimum results are gained from scarce resources; among many others.
