ACLAIM Africa Limited had the incredible opportunity to facilitate a four-day Resource Mobilisation and Partnership Management Strategy workshop for War Child Canada – Uganda and the eight Implementing Partners under the BRIDGE Project namely; Community Empowerment For Creative Innovation (CECI), Coburwas International Youth Organization To Transform Africa (CIYOTA), Christian Community Response for Social Development (CRSD), Refugee Women Organization (REWO), Talented Orphan Healing Aid (TOHAid), Youth Empowerment For Self-Reliance (YEFSOR), Youth Integrated Development Organisation (YIDO) and Youth Social Advocacy Team (YSAT).
The workshop was facilitated by ACLAIM Consultants, Nelson Nowahabwe, Winnie Birungi, Vanessa Kokunda Rutoosha, and Charlene Nagaba Nuwamanya from 13th to 16th October 2025 at Eureka Hotel in Ntinda.
The participants delved into the practical process of developing a Resource Mobilization Strategy, which involved:
- Analysis of the current evolving funding landscape and how to position their various organisations in the increasingly uncertain and competitive funding landscape;
- Internal contextual analysis, assessing their organisational capacity for resource mobilisation including financial analysis;
- Goal setting and strategy development, ensuring all resource mobilisation efforts align with individual Organisational strategic priorities;
- Donor and partner engagement; and
- Use of practical tools to identify and prioritise potential donors and partnerships/collaborations to pursue by the various organisations.
ACLAIM Africa Limited equipped participating organizations with practical tools to translate workshop learnings into a comprehensive three to five-year Resource Mobilisation Strategy, resulting in a forward-looking blueprint for funding growth, partnership expansion, and long-term sustainability.
