ACLAIM Africa Limited was contracted by Coburwas International Youth Organization to Transform Africa (CIYOTA) from May 2024 to April 2025 to enhance the capacity of the Organisation through training, mentorship, policies review and policies development across the areas of; Governance, Financial Management, Human Resources Management, Programming and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E).
ACLAIM crowned the engaging year-long capacity building support for CIYOTA with a practical hybrid (physical and online) M&E Training for the Organisation’s incredible Team.
The training sessions were facilitated by ACLAIM’s Nelson Nowahabwe, Vanessa Kokunda Rutoosha and Charlene Nagaba Nuwamanya.
The training enriched the participants’ knowledge of the following areas:
- The importance of M&E;
- M&E jargons;
- Developing a Theory of Change;
- Developing a Results Chain;
- Understanding the M&E Process; and
- Understanding the M&E Roles of the various Stakeholders.
Participants rated the training as summarized below:
- 80% of the participants rated the Relevance of Training Content 4 out of 5.
- 80% of the participants rated the Clarity of Presentation 4 or 5 out of 5.
- 80% of the participants rated Engagement and Interaction in the sessions 4 or 5 out of 5.
- 90% of the participants rated the Knowledge of Facilitators 4 or 5 out of 5.
- 80% of the participants rated the Applicability of Training Content 4 or 5 out of 5
- 80% of the participants rated the Teaching Methods used 4 or 5 out of 5
- 80% of the participants indicated that they would highly recommend the M&E Training to others.
